Fetchflat vs Firecrawl
Firecrawl is built to turn a whole site into markdown (crawl, map, then scrape). Fetchflat is built to fetch or extract URLs you already have, at a flat credit tariff, including a 1–1000 item batch with your webhook.

Worked example
You already have 500 product URLs.
- Fetchflat fetch markdown:
500 credits. - Fetchflat extract to a schema:
500 × (1+4) = 2,500if static. - Firecrawl is the better starting point if you do not have the URL list and need crawl/map first. Then you can still send discovered URLs to Fetchflat later.
Fetchflat credits. Firecrawl units vary; look up current docs.
Use Firecrawl if
The input is a domain, not a list. You want crawl + map + scrape as one product.
Use Fetchflat if
The input is URLs. You care about flat credits, extract-to-schema, and a batch job that posts to your webhook.
Out of scope on Fetchflat
Crawl, sitemap map, search endpoints, screenshots, and stealth-by-default. If you need to discover URLs, do that elsewhere and send us the list. We are not drop-in compatible with anyone else's API.
